Magali Designs is the original hip belt bag, launched in 2007 and relaunched in 2019. We consider ourselves trailblazers – years ahead of the belt bag trend. Magali was loved by top boutiques such as Fred Segal, LF and Foley & Corinna from Los Angeles to New York City. Celebrities loved our hands-free bags, from Sarah Jessica Parker, Julia Roberts, Kim Kardashian, Taryn Manning to name a few. Now in 2019….Magali is back for a relaunch 2.0! With all new styles and already loved by top influencers such as Jami Alix, Kayla Glossed Angeles and XXX we are happy to be back! Our new styles are all designed to be worn multiple ways for the on-the-go lifestyle.
Magali represents the L.A. lifestyle, for the girl who spends her day as a creative entrepreneur, a professional, stylish mom or anything in between. She loves the creative, airy but gritty city vibe. One day can take her from the beach in Malibu to a hot new lounge in Silverlake and everything in between. Her bag follows her on this journey as a convertible on-the-go companion. This free-spirited, hands-free lifestyle can be felt coast to coast and everywhere in-between when wearing Magali.
Magali believes each and every company should do their part to give back, therefore each purchase allows the customer to decide where her money goes. Each time you purchase a Magali you have the choice to either plant trees or give meals to children in need. Find out more about how we give back by visiting our charity section.
Our bags are always crafted and sourced in beautiful Los Angeles. Magali Designs is sustainably sourced using vegan and reclaimed leather where possible. Made with true craftsmanship and pride in a small local factory near downtown Los Angeles by our expert leather craftsman Cesar and his team. We hand pick each piece of leather or vegan leather to match each style we create.
Maggie Lee Baker - Designer
Magali Designs is designed by California native Maggie Lee Baker in Los Angeles. During a trip to Europe, Maggie was searching for a fashionable fanny pack to be hands-free, and couldn't find one to suit her needs. So she designed one for herself and when people kept asking about it, she knew she had to create a line of fanny packs. EXPAND
